Dina was born in Colorado and lived in Chicago and rural New York before coming to Manhattan to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her first memory of art is coloring while watching cartoons as a toddler. In one form or another, art has been a central part of her life ever since. At FIT Dina recognized that her artistic expression was best realized on the canvas or the page. She soon transferred to The School of Visual Arts where she earned a BFA.

Throughout her successful career as an art director in magazine publishing (GQ, Esquire,Travel+Leisure), Dina continued to work in her studio and at the Art Students League. In 2011 she began to focus exclusively on painting, earning her MFA at SUNY New Paltz in 2013. Dina has shown in galleries in New York City, the Hamptons, and throughout the Hudson Valley.
